Ex-Vantage executive Christopher Nelson-Smith Joins Blueberry Markets as Trading and Operations Head

Blueberry Markets, an Australian-based FX trading platform, has announced the appointment of Christopher Nelson-Smith to head its trading and operations business. Christopher is an experienced and results-oriented executive with a proven track record in the financial and banking industry.

Christopher's task is to maximize trading revenues from eFX and CFDs by optimizing the trade flow across all Blueberry Markets products. In addition, he will be responsible for liquidity, developing and executing the firm's trading and risk management strategies.

Before joining Blueberry Markets, Christopher spent eight years at global multi-asset broker Vantage where he held the roles including Head of Risk and Director. Previously, he served as a Director at online broker VT Markets.

From December 2011 and December 2015, Christopher served as Senior Market Maker at GAIN Capital, the retail FX business of StoneX Group. Earlier, he was a dealer of City Index, a global leading FX & CFD trading provider.

Prior to this appointment, Blueberry Markets hired former FairMarkets executive Director James O’Neill as a senior executive.
